"Coal" explores relationships 
between the concepts of language, 
culture and forgetting, as well as 
the tendencies of abandonment 
and relocation in the context 
of human memory. 
It consists of three parallel 
experience platforms:

1. The Situation 
(an installation in a gallery space)

2. The Manual  
(a printed book-work)

3. The Process 
(a WWW composition.)

Each part of "Coal" fulfills 
the remaining two. 
Each area, however, is 
an independent conceptual entity, 
challenging the subtle balances 
between the notions of verbal and 
visual, foreign and familiar, 
understandable and obscure.

"Wegiel" jest badaniem
zaleznosci pomiedzy ideami
jezykow, kultur i zapominania,
jak rowniez badaniem tendencji ku
przemieszczeniom i porzuceniu w
kontekscie ludzkiej pamieci. Praca
ta sklada sie z trzech rownoleglych
platform doswiadczenia:

1. Sytuacja
(instalacja w przestrzeni galerii)

2. Podrecznik
(drukowana praca ksiazkowa)

3. Proces
(kompozycja na sieci WWW.)

Kazda czesc "Wegla" dopelnia
pozostale dwie. Kazda sfera,
aczkolwiek, jest niezalezna
caloscia konceptualna
kwestionujaca subtelna rownowage
pomiedzy postrzeganiem slowa i
obrazu, obcego i swojskiego,
zrozumialego i niejasnego.
